Carole's sculpture, "Secrets of the Waters," is sited in the center of the new Jale Inan Park in Manavgat, Turkey. The park and sculpture were dedicated on International Women's Day, March 8, 2017. Jale Inan was Turkey's first female archeologist. ​

First International Sculpture Symposium – Inspiration Penza. Carole has just returned from Russia where she was one of 52 sculptors invited to participate in the First International Stone and Wood Sculpture Symposium – Inspiration Penza. 2008 Beijing Olympic Landscape Sculpture Finale.
The Awards Ceremony, the culmination of the two year Olympic Sculpture Competition, is held in Beijing. Carole is honored to have her sculpture selected (from more than 2400 designs from 82 countries and regions) to be one of only 3 to represent the United States in the final stage of the contest. Rhythmic Dancer was awarded the "Excellent Works" distinction and will be on display at the Olympic Games in Beijing, along with the winners of gold, silver and bronze medals, which were awarded at the ceremony.China

.....Carole was invited, as the only American among 20 international artists, to take part in this four week symposium in Penza – Samara, Russia. Author of the project is internationally recognized sculptor, Yury Tkachenko, Professor of Penza State University of Architecture and Construction, member of International Association of Arts, Association Internationale des Atrs Plastiques – IAA AIAP UNESCO.

.....Carole's "Rhythmic Dancer"awarded Excellent Works designation and enters Phase Three of the competition, "through public balloting and assessments by specialists, 110 items will be picked up for the final round of the contest. In the end, 29 winning pieces will emerge from the final round for the gold, silver and bronze Olympic medals. The number 29 represents the XXIX Olympiad."

Carole is chosen to participate in the First International Sculpture Symposium of Opole, Poland.

Carole's sculpture design is selected as a finalist in 2008 Beijing Olympics Landscape Sculpture Contest and she is asked to send her maquette to China for molding and bronze casting. Over 2,600 designs were submitted by artists from 82 countries and Carole is honored to be among the 290 finalists and one of the eight sculptors chosen to represent the United States. Her sculpture, "Rhythmic Dancer," will tour major cities in China with the Beijing 2008 Olympic Landscape Sculpture Design Finalist Exhibition through November 2006 (all finalist sculptures were cast in bronze triplicate to facilitate simultaneous exhibition). At the end of China tour, this group will be further reduced to 110 sculptures and these finalists will move to the next phase of competition and an international tour.
